Office Manager/Controller (Paid Relocation Offered)

A large volume dealer in the Killeen area is looking for an experienced Office Manager/Controller.

The optimal candidate will have in depth knowledge, be technically savvy and process driven.

The position will report directly to the Dealer and General Manager. The compensation 

package will consist of a generous salary, increasing with experience, bonus, and benefits 

package. The Controller interacts with the management in every department.

Essential Duties 

  • Directly responsible for the management, creation, and implementation of all accounting,

        financial reporting, auditing, and compliance processes and procedures.

  • Manage the accuracy, productivity and personnel associated with the day-to-day   

        activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, CIT, invoicing/billing, customer

        collections, payroll, and all general entries associated with the business office.

  • Work directly with the Dealer/ General Manager to manage every aspect of the    

        dealership's accounting financial reporting and auditing procedures.

  • Identify new opportunities to improve efficiencies and setting budgets for each department. 

                                                                    

Requirements 

  • Must be motivated, highly organized and process driven.
  • High level of energy and conviction to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have financial reporting experience with an automotive institution. 
  • Knowledge of dealer management system software preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a dealership senior accounting management role for at least 5 years
  • Demonstrable experience in creating and driving the analytic framework for planning and managing organizational change; ability to anticipate the infrastructure and systems needs
  • Exceptional management skills
  • Recognized success in developing and monitoring systems to manage both internal operations that involve high levels of collaboration, particularly with departments and senior leadership
  • Analytic, organization, and problem solving skills that support and enable sound decision making in a complex organization; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
  • Direct and concise communication skills; an active listener; ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including accounting and non-accounting managers
  • Must be able to pass national background check
